animal reiki
the goodest girls and bois get energy healing too
-
where
Sessions will be at your home, farm, shelter or preserve. Please note the space needs to be comfortable and free from as many distractions as possible.
-
how
I will come to where your animal loved one is comfortable.
I ask if s/he would like a Reiki session (some may choose not to have a session at that time). Some animals also choose to be close by, some choose to be across the room for treatment.
I’ll spend extra time on any areas of concern.
The animal will often give a clear signal when finished (I know, but I’m serious), or if they want I will continue.
Just like humans more than one session may be necessary to heal or resolve the issue.
SAFETY is top priority for your animals, for you and for myself. Reactive or dangerous animals need to be contained in some capacity to be worked on. Most animals are quite receptive to the energy.
-
why
Animals benefit from Reiki just as people do. They especially benefit if they have been dealing with inflammation, health issues, trauma, moving, transport, etc.
Energy work is based on similar principles as acupuncture, believing that energy flows in the body (called Chi in acupuncture) and when this energy becomes blocked or stagnant, we experience health and emotional crisis. Like humans, animals have a subtle body and energy field and benefit from a positive energy flow. Some animal lovers also choose to have a reiki practitioner present while assisting their animals cross the rainbow bridge. This can help ease the transition and let your animal know it is okay to pass.
