I’m a mama to two of the sweetest (and high energy!) boys. I love travelling,
food, tea, hikes, and learning more about energy, consciousness and the human experience.
Here’s my story…
Reiki had been on my mind since I had a psychic medium in 2021 tell me about my ‘healing hands.’
Getting sick in early 2022 caused a flare in my autoimmune diseases and resulted in a massive panic attack and hospital visit. After coming home that night, I was left with an entire WEEK of my body being stuck in fight or flight mode. I couldn’t care for myself or my kids. It was very scary. At that point I closed down my coaching business except for a couple of long term clients and focused in on my peace and happiness.
A secondary, more minor panic attack in 2022 led me to receiving a reiki treatment from a family member and that was my (second) sign to explore reiki for myself.
I’m thrilled to now be a Certified Advanced Reiki Practitioner serving Parkland County (Stony Plain, Spruce Grove and area) in person and also offering distance sessions.
Who I work with…
I work with souls who are open and ready for healing. This includes all ages and stages of life - young kiddos, pregnancy, postpartum, end of life care, and more.
Reiki is wonderful for the stress of day to day life, perceived mental blocks, as well as symptom management for chronic or acute pain, or side effects from cancer treatments, etc.
* I am a certified coach and have ongoing coaching supervision as per ICF standards. I am a certified Advanced Reiki Practitioner via in person training and am always learning about how to strengthen my Reiki Practice.
why sundog?
Sundogs appear in the dead of winter here in Alberta - a very long, very frigid season. Tough on many, although winter has its’ own beauty. To me, sundogs are a source of positivity and connection - the sun appearing for warmth and healing light and the rainbow effect to remind us of the beauty of nature.
Sundogs are viewed as a sign of good luck, balance, connection to spirit, creator, or higher power, and a sign of positive change and transformation.
My hope is that Sundog Holistic can reach many souls and support them to feel balanced in day to day life AND on their journey of positive transformation.
